2026 FINANCIAL LITERACY TRAINING

September 9, 2026 — The Financial Literacy Training hosted by CARE MBA, Inc. in collaboration with MIMAP was successfully conducted yesterday, with 80 participants from selected cooperative partners who were unable to attend last year’s session.

The training was divided into four informative sessions, each facilitated by a knowledgeable speaker who shared practical insights on financial management:

  • Session 1: “Mga Pinansyal na Serbisyo, sa Inaasahan at Di-Inaasahang Peligro!”

Discussed by Ms. June-an Villojan, Finance and Admin Officer of MIMAP

  • Session 2: “Savings and Loans, sa Inaasahang Peligro!”

Delivered by Mrs. Melanie P. Fontarum, General Manager of St. Jude Multi-Purpose Cooperative

  • Session 3: “Microinsurance, sa Di-Inaasahang Peligro!”

Given by Mrs. Ma. Lourdes E. Quesea, Admin and Operations Manager of CARE MBA, Inc

  • Session 4: “Pondong Pang-Retiro, Simulan Na!”

Presented by Atty. Joycee M. Sio, President of CARE MBA, Inc.

The activity aimed to strengthen the participants’ financial knowledge and skills and provide practical insights to help them better manage their personal and organizational finances. Through the discussions, participants were encouraged to make informed and wiser financial decisions, both in their daily lives and in managing their respective cooperatives.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who actively participated in yesterday’s training. We hope that the knowledge, insights, and lessons gained from the session will be put into practice and contribute to better financial decision-making and management.

Once again, thank you for your time, active participation, and commitment to learning! We look forward to continuing to empower our cooperative partners through meaningful learning opportunities.
