As per INSURANCE COMMISSION CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 2020-33

On April 09, 2020, Insurance Commission released a Circular Letter No. 2020-33, classifying all Mutual Benefit Associations (MBA’s) as Health Insurance Providers. Thus, making MBA employees as front liners during this pandemic caused by COVID-19.

In line with the above mentioned, Insurance Commission issued a Certification to CARE MBA’s employees to be exempted from the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine and to resume office works through skeletal basis.
